Our currant lead time on skips is 2-3 days. Customers are entitled to a 2 week period for skip hire. If you would like your skip collected before the two week period is over, please chose your chosen collection date at checkout and we will contact you. If you would like to hire a skip for longer than two weeks, please call our office on 01642 750 444.

Terms and Conditions

The hirer shall be liable for additional rental charge if skip is retained in excess of the agreed period of 14 days.
The hirer shall not deposit Asbestos, Refrigerators, Batteries, Gas Bottles, Tyres or Toxic waste in the skip.
The hirer shall be solely responsible for the condition of the skip from the time of delivery until collection by Scott Bros Recycling LTD and the hirer hereby agrees to take all necessary precautions to ensure that it shall not be a danger or a nuisance to any persons or property whatsoever.
The hirer shall indemnify Scott Bros Recycling Ltd against any claim in respect of personal injury or to the death of any person arising out of or in the course of or caused or contributed to by the skip in use or situation or otherwise in connection therewith during the period of hiring.
The hirer shall indemnify Scott Bros Recycling Ltd against any claim of whatsoever kind in respect of injury, trespass or other damage whatsoever nature to any property real or personal arising from negligence omission or default on the part of the hirer or its workmen or its sub-contractors or from any cause whatsoever arising out of or in the course of or caused or contributed to by the skip, its use or situation or otherwise in connection therewith during the period of hiring.
The hirer warrants as a term of this contract that the site provided for the skip is suitable and he/she has every necessary authority or licence from the local authority which may be required in connection with the use of this skip.
The hirer is responsible for lighting the skip.
The hirer shall not load or permit the skip to be loaded higher than the fill level
The hirer shall not burn or permit rubbish to be burned in the skip.
The hirer shall be responsible and liable for all or any damage caused to the skip whilst the skip is on hire from Scott Bros Recycling Ltd and the hirer shall be responsible for the return of said skip to Scott Bros Recycling Ltd at the termination of the period of hire in the same condition and state of repair as at the date of commencement of the period of hire and the hirer shall keep Scott Bros Recycling Ltd indemnified in all aspects against claims, action, costs, liabilities and demands whatsoever or howsoever arising out of this contract of hire.
I confirm I have fulfilled my duty to apply the waste hierarchy as required by Regulation 12 of the Waste (England and Wales) Regulations 2011.
